NEWS ALERT: Cortec® Adds to Learning and Growth Opportunities at AWT

AWT Booth 2

October 19, 2021

We were happy to be in person once again at the AWT Annual Convention & Exposition, September 22nd-25th in Rhode Island! It was a great opportunity to touch base with many distributors and water treatment professionals who were already familiar with our boiler layup technology, as well as those who are completely new to the industry. The majority of visitors came from the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic regions but also represented the West Coast, Gulf Coast, and Midwest. Those who stopped by the Cortec® booth exhibited a high level of interest in Cortec® VpCI® Technologies.

Our Commercial Corner talk on “Beyond the Boiler Lizard®: Expanded Solutions for Boiler Layup & Corrosion Prevention” was well attended and positively received by both sales and technical professionals. Many of the attendees were already familiar with the Boiler Lizard® and appreciated the opportunity to learn more about the VpCI® chemistry behind the products and meet our expanding collection of boiler layup “animals.”

Throughout the show, our team noticed a strong interest in Cortec® cooling water technologies and worked to educate attendees on this less well-known topic. We also saw a need to help potential users differentiate Cortec® VpCI® Technologies from commodity chemicals that are traditionally used but are far less optimal. All in all, the show presented many opportunities for education and growth that we look forward to pursuing in the future!
