A large canned-food processor in Southeastern Europe needed to protect metal cans from scale and corrosion during processing. They started adding S-14 and S-8 to fresh process water during can washing and sterilization. These additives solved the problem, and the customer was satisfied, continuing to use the technology for at least five years.
